More and more families are choosing to stay in vacation homes rather than in hotels nowadays. Here are some of the reasons
Step1. The first thing to do when making a reservation is to check out our rates and availability calendar to make sure that our home is not already booked on the date you wish to reserve. Next complete the on-line "quick inquiry form with your request and or questions. Do make sure you include such requests as pool heat, crib, high chair etc. E-mail us your completed request form at the following e-mail address info@lexanadu-windsorhills.com Once we have received your request we will send you a quotation. If you decide to proceed and you have given us the "green light" we will send you a rental agreement and we wait to receive your deposit and your signed rental agreement (you may choose any of the three payment options detailed on our website) Step 2 . Before a reservation can be confirmed you must complete and return a rental agreement form along with the deposit and a non-refundable $25.00 administration fee Step 3 . As soon as we have received your deposit and the administration fee we will send you confirmation #. You will also receive a detailed account balance which is due six weeks before your arrival date. We will then "block" your week on our calendar.
You will receive a complete package of details, maps, property address and additional contact numbers upon payment. Our local property manager can handle anything locally if the need arises. You can pick up your keys right on the property. We will provide you with a key code for the lock box. Check in time is usually after 4 pm . Once you reach the resort you will have to show the guard your rental confirmation. Our management company will be on hand to answer questions and assist you in any way they can. The company's information will be provided in your confirmation package.
Checkout time is at 10:30am, unless you have made other arrangements with us. At the end of your stay, please empty all wastebaskets and put trash in the bin in the bench outside the front door. Kindly place all used dishes and silverware in the dishwasher. Please turn off lights and appliances, lock all windows, doors and sliding doors before you leave. As a courtesy to us and future guests, please try to leave the home in a reasonable state of cleanliness. The keys must be returned to the unit lockbox; otherwise a key replacement fee will be deducted from your damage deposit. Please remember to take all of your personal belongings, as we cannot be held responsible for items left behind. The property management company kindly asks if you have sufficient time to strip the bed linens, throw the towels in the washer and start the laundry.
Checkout time is normally 10.30 am unless you have made other arrangements with us. We can however, depending upon the circumstances, arrange for later times and we will make every effort to accommodate our guests if possible. Please contact the management company ASAP and ask if it's possible if you think this may be the case, they are usually very accommodating, depending upon cleaning schedules and subsequent bookings.
The house can accommodate a MAXIMUM of 8 guests, due to Florida state fire and hotel regulations, and this number includes all occupants regardless of age or size.
No . For the health and safety of all of our guests (including ourselves), smoking and pets are strictly prohibited. You may smoke outside if you choose but please use an ashtray when you do this.
Please note that this is a self catering facility .Any items provided in the gift baskets are only meant to get you through the night until you are able to make your way to the supermarket to pick up provisions that you will need for your stay. No bleach is allowed in the home.
Le Xanadu is fully furnished and equipped for your vacation enjoyment. We really want you to relax and enjoy yourself while you are our guests. There are two sets of sheets for each bedroom and two sets of towels for each bath. Pillows, blankets and other necessities are provided. Both master suites are also equipped with a hairdryer and alarm clock/radios. We do also provide some pool towels, this need to be returned to the unit if you take them to the clubhouse pool. All Kitchen utensils are provided including plates, cups, bowls, glasses, silverware, toaster, blender, teapot, coffee maker, and pots and pans. There is a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and a stove/oven. For your laundry/cleaning needs a washer and dryer are provided along with an ironing board and iron. The house is equipped with small hotel soaps and 2 rolls of toilet tissue in each bath. If you are staying more than a couple of days, you will want to purchase additional supplies.
Le Xanadu is located just minutes from US 192 where numerous supermarkets and superstores are found. There is a Publix supermarket located 2 miles West of Old Lake Wilson Road on highway 192, an upscale Gooding's market at Water Tower Place in Celebration, just about 5 minutes East on 192, and a Winn-Dixie at Formosa Gardens Plaza, just West of Old Lake Wilson Road on highway 192. There are also 3 Wal-Marts and a Super Target within a short driving distance, well as numerous convenience stores located on US 192. Also nearby are stores such as Walgreen's, Wal-Mart, Target, and many others, so obtaining nearly anything you should need while vacationing should be quite easy, and a whole lot less expensive than staying on the Disney properties and eating out all the time with no kitchen! here in Chicago. You can pre-order all of your groceries online and
have them delivered anywhere in the Disney Resort area whenever you
would like!!
Shopping areas are less than 15 minutes away. Disney Downtown is 10 minutes from all our homes and there are numerous other areas of shopping to interest you including designer outlets and various shopping malls.
There are too many good restaurants to list but a few that are located within a 10 to 15 minute drive are: Romano's Macaroni Grill, Medieval Times, Planet Hollywood, JT's PRIME Time, Shoney's and all of the major "Fast Food" chains . There are several major Food Markets located within a 5 to 15 minute drive from our homes. An example includes Gooding's, Publix, Winn Dixie Marketplace and Wal-Mart Super center .
Best Value: Romano's Macaroni Grill, 12148 S Apopka Vineland Rd. (Phone: 407.239.6676). If you like great tasting Italian fare and Chianti, this is the place. Best of all, it's inexpensive. Take I-4 toward Orlando, and turn off at old Exit 27. Turn left on to Apopka Vineland Rd. and go straight approximately 1-2 miles. Romano's is on the left just after Chili's. Best Prime Rib: JT's PRIME Time. ALL YOU CAN EAT! Go north on Hwy 27 for approximately 4 ½ miles. Take the Exit for 192 (Irlo Bronson Hwy) and go East (toward Disney) approximately 3 miles. JT's is on the left (North side) of 192. You won't regret it.
Florida is a Golfer's Paradise!! There are so many golf courses in the vicinity of Windsor Hills Resort that it would take a few pages to list them. Here is a partial list of golf courses that are located just minutes from Le Xanadu.
